A girl with Saskatchewan roots and the prairies in her heart. A wife. A mother of three wild and wonderful souls. A dog lover. A music lover. A foodie at heart. I love movies. I love interior design and décor. I love nature. I love daydreaming. I love kindness and bravery and fighting the odds. I love the underdog. I want the happy ending.
But most of all, I'm a lover of words. An author. A voracious reader. A collector of novels. I love the way a book feels in my hands - its soft, pliable cover and the often dank and musty smell of a well-loved tale. The magical transportation to another time and place.
I love to write. Writing has been a savior through the ups and downs of life: health issues, monumental losses, the ravages of grief, crushing depression, paralyzing anxiety, the moments that have stolen my breath, left me in awe and wonder, and the nail-biting challenges of stretching myself in order to try and make my dreams come true. I've been saved by words, and I hope you will be too.
